Project Scope
The scope of work includes the decommissioning and removal of three existing sectional boilers and the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of a new high-efficiency condensing boiler manufactured by Hamworthy. All existing 24 pump sets were removed and upgraded
The objective is to improve energy efficiency and reliability
Project Outcome
Upon completion of the replacement of the three existing sectional boilers with new high-efficiency condensing boiler equipment manufactured by Hamworthy, the facility will achieve the following outcomes:
-
A fully operational, commissioned, and code-compliant heating plant designed to meet the building’s heating demand under all operating conditions
-
Improved energy efficiency through modern condensing boiler technology, resulting in reduced fuel consumption and lower operating costs
-
Enhanced system reliability and redundancy, with modern safety controls, modulation, and improved turndown capability
-
Reduced carbon emissions and improved environmental performance
-
Optimized system control and response, including integration with existing control or Building Management Systems
-
Improved maintainability, with new equipment, accessible components, and comprehensive operation and maintenance documentation
The heating system will be handed over in a condition suitable for immediate use, with all testing, commissioning, documentation, and staff training completed
